The Omani Products Exhibition offered its trade visitors a once a year opportunity to discover everything they wanted to know under one roof about all Omani Products. The 4-day trade fair that was held in Nairobi, Kenya provided the apt avenue for Kenyan importers, agents, distributors, re-exporters of products an excellent opportunity to meet, network and sign up with the exporters directly. The event also was a great opportunity for networking with the Omani government authorities responsible for promotion and export development of Omani products. Learn more
KENYA DIASPORA CONFERENCE DECEMBER 2015
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Trade is organizing a Diaspora Conference to take place in Nairobi from 20th to 22nd December, 2015. The theme of the Conference is Together Building a Nation: Tourism Value Chain and Investment.
The conference aims at mainstreaming the Diaspora into national development with a focus on tourism and investment and targets the many Kenyans living abroad who travel to Kenya for the December holidays.
The Kenya Embassy wish to inform all Kenyans residing in Oman of the event and encourage those interested to participate.

AMNESTY TO ILLEGAL FOREIGN WORKERS
The Government of Oman has declared an amnesty starting from May to 30th July 2015 for illegal foreign workers to leave the country without being penalised.
The amnesty will only apply to absconding workers and those who have overstayed their visa periods.
Please note ‘illegal workers’ will be allowed to leave the country as long as they don’t have any pending cases. The Embassy therefore wishes to inform Kenyans living and working in Oman illegally to come forward and take advantage of the amnesty.
The application forms for the amnesty are available at the Embassy

KENYA DIASPORA EASTER INVESTMENT CONFERENCE: 31ST MARCH -2ND APRIL 2015, NAIROBI

Diaspora Homecoming Conference on 18th – 19th December 2014 at KICC in Nairobi -POSTPONED
The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya, Muscat, wishes to inform all members of the Kenyan diaspora in the Sultanate of Oman that the diaspora conference dubbed “Diaspora Home Coming Conference” scheduled on 18th and 19th December, 2014, at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) in Nairobi has been postponed until the first quarter of 2015. The actual event dates will be availed in due course.
