Ambassador Abdi Aden Korio is the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Sultanate of Oman, with accreditation to the Republic of Yemen. He holds a master’s degree in Epidemiology from Methodist University, Kenya, a BSc in Environmental Health from Mt. Kenya University, Kenya and has a huge of experience of over 20 years working in the public, private, and political sectors, inspired by desire to serve humanity. Served as a specialist nurse in the Kenya Defense Forces, whose primary mission is to protect and preserve Kenya’s territorial integrity.

Additionally, Ambassador Abdi served on boards of public institutions, highlighting the crucial role of leadership in supporting the country’s development. In the private sector, he has championed responsible and sustainable business models that prioritize people’s needs. As an environmental and public health specialist, he has also been an advocate for good governance and initiated impactful actions geared towards community peace and development. He is driven by the power of self-motivation, responsibility, teamwork, and values in achieving goals.
